| Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC) provides encouragement for Support Group Leaders in the following ways: - An almost monthly informational Support Group Leaders Memo sent via postal mail or email. If you have information to share with other groups please contact us at memo{at}chec{dot}org. The deadline to submit information is the 12th of the month that the Memo is distributed. (Generally we don't send a Memo in June or December.)
- A listing of Homeschool Support Groups on the CHEC website grouped by regional areas. This list is updated as requested from leaders and is only for groups who choose to be on it.
- A Speakers List that includes speakers who hold to the basic beliefs that home education should be Christ-centered, parent-directed and free from government control.
- Leadership mentoring from a veteran leadership couple.
- A free brunch at the annual conference in June with a featured keynote speaker and other conference perks.
- Symposiums directed at leadership issues are occasionally held. If you are interested in helping to hostess this in your area, please contact us at memo{at}chec{dot}org.
